The H.D.& O.S. musical has been a huge box office attraction since the society's inception in 1919. From operettas in the early days to amateur regional premieres of "42nd Street", "Follies" and "La Cage aux Folles" in recent years, Hertford audiences have enjoyed highly professional interpretations of traditional and modem musicals. We are always looking for an opportunity to secure the rights of the latest releases.

We pride ourselves in setting the highest standards in music, dance and stage presentation. For those interested in developing their dancing skills, there is a modem dance group called "Abstracts" that meets every Saturday at Bentley House.
