NEWSFLASH
The June 2012 Studio Theatre production of Bad Girls has been NOMINATED BY NODA as BEST MUSICAL for the Eastern Region in 2012.
This fresh, funny and original British musical is based on the characters and stories from the hugely successful television drama, Bad Girls, seen on ITV in the mid 2000's. Set in fictional HMP Larkhall it tells the story of new idealistic Wing Governor Helen Stewart and her battles with entrenched old guard, Principal Officer Jim Fenner and his sidekick Sylvia Hollamby when the prisons routine is affected by new inmate Rachel Hicks. It also follows the reltionship that develops between Helen and long term prisoner Nicki Wade. Bad Girls the Musical is full of lively new songs that will stay in your memory long after the final curtain falls.
We don't apoligise for the language used or the sexual situations occurring from time to time. We are led to believe that this is what prison is like.
Be aware that because of these the Society does not believe Bad Girls the Musical is suitable for anybody under fifteen.
